I've been subletting at a wonderful place for the last couple months and just found out that the owner will not be rerenting the apartment, therefore I have to start the roommate/apartment search yet again.  I'm looking for something in a safe area, walking distance to a metro, and affordable.  If anyone has an opening this spring, or is also looking for a roommate please let me know!

My roommate is getting married this summer so I'm looking for a female roommate to move into my Silver Spring apartment, in early June.

It's a great community, with lots of young people (though not as many as the Dupont area…), and in walking distance to two Orthodox shuls and two Conservative ones. I keep Kosher and Shabbos.

This large, ground-floor apartment is a two bedroom, one bath, and has windows NOT at ground level (for security reasons). The master bedroom will be available. The room comes with 2 closets.

We have a Kosher kitchen; including a Kosher dishwasher (Dairy).

Rent would be $840/month with utilities included; we just have to pay for internet. Parking, gym, pool, and garden plots are included, too. You get a lot for your money compared to other parts of town. :-)

I'm in the middle of a DC internship and am pretty quiet and busy. I don't smoke, no pets, and keep the place clean.
