- A new book profiles Jewish athletes, and not just the big names like Sandy Koufax. It includes the full range of athletes from baseball to competitive eating. The editors will be at Sixth&I on November 15 to discuss the book.
- Here’s a shout out to the reporters who braved the storm to keep us updated with what was going on during Hurricane Sandy.
- The greater New York area, home to the largest population of Jews in North America, took a big hit from Sandy. Jewish institutions from along the east coast remained closed through Tuesday.
- All joking and Gangnam Style rain dance memes aside, Hurricane Sandy pounded the east coast- our hearts go out to those who are still without power and those who have rebuild their homes, businesses, and lives.
