Israeli Sculpture Exhibit

Washington-based, Israeli artist Dalya Luttwak will be featured as part of “Sculpture on the Grounds,” co-sponsored by the Washington Sculptor’s Group and the Kreeger Museum.

Luttwak’s exhibit, When Nature Takes Over, was created as a site-specific sculpture on the Museum’s tennis court, out of use since 1994.  It uses and echoes the existing roots and vines that cover the court’s cracked floor and metal fence.

HOURS: The exhibit opens September 15 with a reception from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and artists’ remarks at 7:00 p.m.

The public may view the sculptures free of charge Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The sculptures will remain on view through July 2013.

WHERE: Kreeger Sculpture Garden, Kreeger Musuem, 2401 Foxhall Road NW
