Attached is a picture of a painting I made to show my view of the meaning of Judaism. The solid color in the background represents some of the major structures in the Jewish community–synagogues, community centers, charities, and, of course, families. The solid color in the center represents the common values of Judaism. The triangles on the star are the Jewish people. They’re being held together by both of the solid areas, but there are lots of different colors in those areas to show the diversity within the community. The entire painting is in shades of blue to show that, in spite of differences, Jews share something fundamental.
