On to round 2. Jewish Guy and Girl of the Year Competition

Congratulations to Steve and Rachel C. – our top finishers in the first round of the Jewish Guy and Girl of the Year Competition.  They will be given small prizes…

But the battle is not yet won.

The following six men will advance to round 2:

4. Jeremy — 223 votes

5. Eric L. — 190 votes

6. Uri — 176 votes

And, owing to a number of considerations, we’ve decided to advance all of the women who tallied over 500 votes to the second round.

1. Rachel C. — 1,055 Votes

2. Nikki — 1,002 votes

3. Yael and Jane — 980 votes

4. Kelly — 902 votes

5. Holly — 723 votes

6. Stacy — 694 votes

7. Lena — 685 botes

8. Courtney — 571 votes

9. Yelena – 544 votes

So what does the second round entail?  It will not be based on popular vote, but you will have to evince Jewish knowledge and creativity.  We’re still assembling our judging panel, but we promise to inform you of the details in the next few days.  Additionally, we’re allowing two of our contestants (Spencer and Rachel C.) to celebrate their wedding before worrying about the extreme pressures of Round 2.
